Experience Design Studio
The Experience Design Studio
We help organizations transform gatherings into experiences worth attending — and worth remembering.
Our Approach
Exceptional experiences begin long before guests arrive.
They begin with a genuine understanding of the organization hosting them, the people being served, and the purpose the gathering is meant to fulfill. Before a single venue is considered or a single vendor is engaged, the Experience Design Studio begins with strategy — because the most memorable events are never accidents.
We bring twenty-five years of event production experience, deep cultural fluency, and a curatorial point of view that most event companies cannot offer: we know what a room feels like when it's right, and we know exactly what it takes to make it feel that way.
Whether you are planning a grand opening, a brand activation, a product launch, an awards ceremony, or a cultural event, the Experience Design Studio begins the same way: with listening.

What We Build
Grand Openings
The first impression a space makes is permanent. We design openings that feel like events — not ribbon-cutting ceremonies with catering. Every element of a TGLC-designed grand opening is built to tell the story of the space and the organization behind it before a single guest is asked to applaud.
Brand Activations
A brand activation designed by the Experience Design Studio is not a booth with a branded backdrop. It is an immersive experience that puts a guest inside the feeling of a brand — and leaves them with a story worth telling long after they've left the space.
Product Launches
We believe a product launch should generate conversation, not just coverage. The Experience Design Studio designs launches that give guests something to experience, not just observe — creating the kind of memorable first encounter that turns an audience into advocates.
Cultural Events
Cultural programming requires cultural intelligence. The Experience Design Studio brings a genuine understanding of the diaspora communities we serve and the creative traditions that inform their celebrations — which means the cultural events we design are never generic and never performative.
Corporate Gatherings
The best company gatherings don't feel like work. They feel like the organization at its most honest — its values visible in the room design, its people genuinely present, its community genuinely built. We help organizations create the kind of gathering that their people look forward to and remember.
Awards & Recognition
Recognition events are only as powerful as the experience of being recognized feels. The Experience Design Studio designs awards ceremonies and recognition events that treat the people being celebrated as the center of the room — not an afterthought in a program.
Our Process
How We Work
Discovery
We begin by listening. A consultation with the Experience Design Studio team to understand your organization, your audience, your goals, and what a successful experience looks like from your perspective.
Strategy
Before any logistics are discussed, we develop the experience strategy — the point of view, the emotional journey, and the purpose the gathering serves. This document becomes the filter for every decision that follows.
Design
The experience is designed in full — from the arrival moment to the close. Venue, production, talent, hospitality, and all creative elements developed in alignment with the strategy.
Production
The Experience Design Studio manages every element of production — vendor relationships, logistics, run-of-show, and on-site coordination. Our clients are present as hosts, not managers.
The Experience
The room opens. The experience delivers. Every detail reflects the strategy and the standard.
Reflection
After the event, the Experience Design Studio provides a debrief — what worked, what the room revealed, and how the experience can be made stronger for what comes next.

The Experience Journey
How the Afternoon Unfolds
Every experience we design moves through four intentional stages — each one carrying the experience forward and earning the trust of every guest in the room.
Arrival
Every experience begins before the doors open. We design the arrival moment — the first impression that tells every guest they are exactly where they are supposed to be.
Welcome
The room receives its guests intentionally. Welcome is not a formality — it is the first chapter of the experience, and we design it with the same care as everything that follows.
The Experience
The heart of the evening. Every element — the room, the talent, the hospitality, the conversation — working together as one designed moment.
The Close
The last impression matters as much as the first. We design closings that leave guests with a clear sense of what they were part of — and a reason to return.

Why People Work With Us
From Our Clients
"They didn't ask us what we wanted. They asked us why we were gathering — and then designed an experience that answered that question for every person in the room."
"We'd done our grand opening the standard way before. Hired a venue, hired a caterer, hired a DJ. It was fine. The Experience Design Studio designed something that felt like us. Guests stayed three hours past the scheduled close."
"What they understand is that the experience is the message. Everything else is logistics. Once they design the experience, the logistics are just execution."
