Membership FAQ
Common Questions
What is Origin membership and how does it work?
Origin is the starting point of every TGLC membership — and it's free. It applies automatically when you join the list or purchase your first ticket. Origin members receive Gather and invitations before the public announcement. There's no commitment and no cost. It's the beginning of the relationship.
Can I upgrade my membership tier?
Yes. You can upgrade at any time. When you upgrade, the new tier activates immediately and your next billing cycle reflects the new price. Upgrades are available in the member portal at tglc.com/members.
Is there a quarterly billing option?
No. Mancala memberships are available on monthly or annual billing only. Annual members receive two months free.
What does "96-hour early access" mean in practice?
When an experience opens for reservations, Rhythm, Position, and The House members receive access 96 hours before the public link goes live. By the time the announcement goes out to the public, members have already had four days to reserve their place. All three paid tiers receive the same 96-hour window simultaneously — there is no staggered access among paid tiers.
What is a member-only gathering?
Member-only gatherings are experiences created specifically for Mancala members — never publicly announced and not available for general purchase. They range in format and size, depending on the tier. Rhythm members receive invitations to select member gatherings. The House members receive invitations to The House-exclusive gatherings, which are smaller and more personal.
What happens if I cancel?
You can cancel at any time. Your membership remains active through the end of your current billing period. After cancellation, your account returns to Origin status — free, with Gather access and list invitations intact.
Is my membership transferable?
Memberships are individual and non-transferable. Guest privileges at Position and The House tiers allow you to bring one guest into the full member experience once per year — but the membership itself belongs to you.
